Why Kukuh Capital

Education That Honours Your Experience

We work with people who have spent decades building their financial lives. Our approach acknowledges that experience โ€” and builds on it.

Malaysian-Specific Context

Every session is grounded in Malaysia's EPF system, local fund distributors, Ringgit realities, and the financial landscape you actually live in.

No Products Sold

Kukuh Capital is a pure education provider. We do not sell financial products or earn referral commissions โ€” our only commitment is to your understanding.

Empathetic Facilitation

Life transitions carry emotional weight. Our facilitators are trained to guide conversations with patience, discretion, and genuine care for each participant.

Practical Workbooks

Every programme includes structured workbooks and reference materials so you can revisit concepts and apply them at your own pace after the sessions conclude.

Flexible Scheduling

Sessions are scheduled around your availability. We accommodate working hours, commitments, and pace โ€” because financial education should fit your life, not the other way around.

Strict Confidentiality

Everything you share in your sessions stays within the session. We operate under a clear confidentiality framework so you can speak openly about your financial situation.

Open Invitation

When You Are Ready, We Are Here

Common Questions

Questions You May Have

We have tried to answer the most common questions here. You are also very welcome to call or write to us directly.

What is financial education โ€” and how is it different from financial advice?
Financial education teaches you how financial concepts and instruments work so you can make your own informed decisions. Financial advice, by contrast, involves a licensed adviser recommending specific actions for your situation. At Kukuh Capital, we educate โ€” we equip you with knowledge and frameworks. We do not hold an investment advisory licence and do not direct you to specific products.
Who are these programmes designed for?
Our programmes are designed for Malaysians aged 40 and above who are navigating significant financial decisions โ€” whether that is understanding what to do after retrenchment, learning how to read and compare unit trust funds on their own, or thinking ahead about the financial dimensions of growing older with dignity. No prior financial knowledge is required.
Are sessions conducted in person or online?
Both options are available. In-person sessions take place at our Taman Tun Dr Ismail office in Kuala Lumpur. Online sessions are conducted via a secure video conferencing platform for those who prefer the comfort of their own home or are located outside Klang Valley. We are happy to discuss which format suits you best.
How does the EPF factor into the Post-Retrenchment programme?
The Employee Provident Fund is often one of the most significant financial assets for Malaysians at this stage of life. Our Post-Retrenchment Triage covers EPF withdrawal eligibility under Account 1 and Account 2, the financial impact of early or partial withdrawals, and how to think about EPF in the context of your broader cash flow situation after job loss.
Is the financial information I share kept confidential?
Yes. All information you share during your sessions is treated with strict confidentiality. We do not share your details with third parties, financial product distributors, or any other organisations. Our Privacy Policy outlines our data handling practices in full.
What is included in the Dignified Ageing programme?
The programme runs across seven structured sessions and is followed by quarterly consultations for one year. Topics include healthcare cost planning, long-term care insurance evaluation, assisted living cost estimation, caregiver financial support, home modification budgeting, advanced directive preparation, and maintaining financial autonomy as cognitive or physical changes occur. You also receive a personalised Dignified Ageing Plan at the conclusion of the seven sessions.
Can I reschedule a session if something comes up?
Of course. We understand that life does not always follow a schedule. Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice at no additional charge. We ask for advance notice simply to allow us to plan effectively โ€” there is no penalty for rescheduling within reason.
